Mia Overall serves as Newmark’s Vice President of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), leading the global strategy and execution of Newmark’s ESG-related functional areas. In her role, Overall ensures the company has the appropriate strategies and structures to maximize ESG-related opportunities and long-term profitability while driving systems infrastructures, operations, policies, programs, procedures, performance metrics and reporting.
Prior to joining Newmark, Overall was the Director of ESG Strategy and Shareholder Engagement at Rockefeller Capital Management, where she established the shareholder engagement team and worked with hundreds of investee companies to enhance their ESG profiles. Before that, she worked as a corporate sustainability consultant advising public and private companies.

Overall holds a B.A. from Stanford University, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins School of International Studies (SAIS) and an M.B.A. from New York University.
