Matthew Cullison is an executive managing director in Newmark’s Philadelphia office, where he is responsible for leading debt origination and structured finance for multifamily and commercial assets. With expertise in both the private and institutional space, Matt has experience across the capital spectrum.
Matt and his Philadelphia-based capital markets group pride themselves on their long-term relationships, offering clients expertise across a diverse capital base that includes life companies, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, regional and national banks, CMBS and fund investors. The group attributes its success to its dedicated work ethic, transparency and customer service, driven by the mindset that trust is earned and re-earned every day.
Prior to joining Newmark, Matt spent the first 14 years of his career at Berkadia, where he transitioned from an analyst to a top-tier loan officer, originating more than $3 billion in financing.
Matt also serves on the board of directors for the Breathing Room Foundation, based in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania The Breathing Room Foundation serves families in the Philadelphia area, who are affected by cancer.
Education
Matt graduated from Gettysburg College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management and economics.
