Marty Leith joined Newmark in 2014 as a Director responsible for operations in Washington with a primary focus on the Puget Sound markets of Seattle and Bellevue. He has more than 18 years of experience in multifamily sales and has sold more than $1.3 billion of assets in the Seattle MSA for a variety of clients, including institutional and private investors. Leith specializes in the sale of large institutional multifamily assets and land for the development of new multifamily projects.
Prior to Newmark, Leith was an Associate Partner at Hendricks Berkadia in Seattle, where he nurtured strong client relationships and built upon his knowledge of the region’s multifamily investment market. Before that, he served as first vice president for Kidder Mathews’ multifamily and investment sales division. Prior to his real estate career, Leith spent 10 years as a Class A PGA golf professional in the Puget Sound region, with a short stint on mini tours in the Southwest and another teaching swing mechanics in Tokyo.

Leith is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Washington State Commercial Association of REALTORS® (WSCAR) and the Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound (RHAWA). He also holds a real estate broker’s license in the state of Washington and is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) candidate.
