Mark Roth joined Newmark in 2015 as an executive managing director in the Boston office, where he leads a five-person team advising tenants and owners of office and laboratory space along Route 128 and the inner suburbs.
Mr. Roth has represented many prestigious companies in their large suburban Boston assignments over his 31-year career. Some notable examples include CA Technologies, Green Mountain, Keurig, Juniper Networks, New York Life, Nokia, Oracle and TripAdvisor.
In the past two years, Mr. Roth has completed over 1.5 million square feet of lease and sale transactions. His recent global transaction work has included multiple assignments for Agenus, Everbridge, TripAdvisor, Shark Ninja and SIOS Technology.
In addition, Mr. Roth and his team have also advised some of Boston’s most distinguished landlords, including Boston Properties, The Bulfinch Companies, DivcoWest, The Gutierrez Company, James Campbell Company, JP Morgan, National Development, Nordblom Company and Saracen Properties.
Mr. Roth has earned numerous distinctions throughout his real estate career, including the Commercial Broker Association’s Deal of the Year Award, which he has received from his peers seven times. He is also a three-time winner of Cushman & Wakefield’s Service Excellence Award for the New England Region and was a consistent Top 100 Broker for Cushman & Wakefield before joining Newmark.
Active in his community, Mr. Roth is involved with The Julie Fund at MGH and is a vice chair of The United Way of Massachusetts Bay Real Estate Committee, which raises several millions of dollars annually from the commercial real estate industry.
Mr. Roth is a graduate of Babson College.
