Luca de Ambrosis

Luca de Ambrosis is a senior real estate executive and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience spanning investment, advisory and platform development across Europe. His career has been defined by leadership roles at major real estate institutions and the creation of market-leading advisory and investment platforms.

Over the course of his career, de Ambrosis has been involved in landmark developments including Porta Nuova and CityLife in Milan, the two largest urban redevelopment projects in the city since World War II. In 2018, he supported Apollo Global Management’s entry into Italy as a local strategic partner and advised on the acquisition of the ENPAM portfolio, a €900 million transaction comprising 67 assets and one of the most significant Italian real estate deals of the past two decades.

de Ambrosis began his career at Cushman & Wakefield in the late 1980s, becoming a Partner and contributing to the firm’s early growth in Italy, before joining Pirelli Real Estate as Director of Corporate Investment & Development. He later served as Partner and Managing Director of McArthurGlen, where he led the development of Italy’s first designer outlet centers and expanded the company’s European portfolio, including the creation of Serravalle Designer Outlet, the most successful outlet center in Europe. In 2000, de Ambrosis founded DEA Real Estate and later co-founded Realty Partners, advising institutional investors, developers and family offices on complex transactions, market entry strategies and large-scale redevelopment projects.

In parallel with his executive work, de Ambrosis served for 17 years as a Board Member and Strategic Advisor to Value Retail, supporting portfolio strategy and international expansion. He has also held numerous institutional leadership roles, including Chair of ULI Italy, founding member of the MAPIC Executive Committee, Vice President of Assoimmobiliare and member of the Executive Committee of Expo.
