Leland Manning joined the Alternative Assets Group at Newmark in 2018 where has worked on a variety of alternatives assets assignments on the investment sales, joint-venture equity and debt & structured finance efforts for the firm and is the national lead for Newmark’s Build-for-Rent (BFR) capital markets practice. Since joining Newmark, Manning has been involved in over $15B in total transactions running the gamut of alternative asset classes. These transactions are largely representative of his involvement in the seniors housing space where his team has been the leader in transaction market share by a wide margin since 2015. Manning has also worked on various buy-side advisory assignments with Newmark’s parent company Cantor Fitzgerald. Manning and his partner Josh Francis co-lead Newmark’s national SFR & BFR practice where they specialize in investment sales, joint-venture equity, and debt & structured finance transactions. Prior to Newmark, Manning worked for a healthcare transactions advisory firm specializing in traditional middle-market and large cap mergers & acquisitions.
