Mr. Kevin Sendrey joined Retail Occupier Services (ROS), a specialty practice group within Newmark, in 2018 and brings with him over 21 years of retail real estate site selection, asset management and strategic planning experience both from a tenant perspective and now from a landlord perspective. He has worked in the real estate department at three national retail corporations in Dick’s Sporting Goods, JCPenney and Brinker International. Mr. Sendrey quickly emerged and maintained the top producer at all three of his corporate real estate jobs. Now that he has worked on the retailer side for over 16 years, Kevin today is broadening his expertise by working as a developer/landlord building and managing shopping centers across Dallas / Fort Worth all while partnering up with Newmark. In his short time at ROS, he has already saved his clients over $20 million dollars in rent and tenant allowance savings and shows no signs of stopping..
Prior to joining ROS and developing/managing shopping centers, Mr. Sendrey was with Dick’s Sporting Goods where he was responsible for all aspects and phases of real estate for the western portion of the country. He showed his expertise in developing and executing new store market rollout programs in several major cities including Houston, DFW and Los Angeles. In addition, Mr. Sendrey worked at JCPenney for 7 years doing new store site selection, asset management of over 1,000 stores and managed a staff of real estate professionals to ensure execution of the company’s objectives.
As part of his career, Mr. Sendrey also worked at Brinker International where he planned, directed and led the efforts of the development team for expansion of over 60 Chili’s Grill & Bar, Macaroni Grill and On the Border restaurants across the country.

Mr. Sendrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Geography from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX.
