Kelsey Foster joins Newmark as a Research Analyst and the newest member of the Greater Philadelphia region’s commercial real estate research team.
In the Greater Philadelphia market, Foster will apply submarket-level analytics to inform investment, development, and leasing strategies across Center City, University City, the Navy Yard, suburban Philadelphia, and key industrial corridors. She will build reproducible R/Python pipelines and interactive dashboards to track construction activity, leasing velocity, and capital flows; run scenario analyses on supply–demand dynamics and risk; and translate findings into clear, decision-ready recommendations for short- and long-term strategy across the Philadelphia MSA.
Prior to joining Newmark, Foster served as a Graduate Assistant, supporting instruction in machine learning, game theory, managerial economics, and sports economics while mentoring undergraduate, graduate, and MBA students in statistical programming and analytical best practices. Drawing on additional experience in pricing, inventory management, operations, and staff training, she brings strong quantitative, operational, and communication skills, leveraging her expertise in forecasting, econometrics, and machine learning—particularly in market and housing analytics—to deliver actionable insights.
Education
Foster holds a Master of Science in Economics and Quantitative Analysis and a Bachelor of Science in Business in Economic Data Analytics from DePaul University, Chicago, IL.
