Josh Williams joined the Portland office of Newmark in 2012. Mr. Williams specializes in the representation of tenants and the leasing of office buildings in the Portland metropolitan area. As a member of Executive Vice President David Squire’s team, Mr. Williams advises clients based on the understanding that real estate is a strategic asset that mirrors an organization’s business plan as well as a fundamental tool for promoting the productivity, recruitment and retainment of talented employees.
Working on behalf of both landlords and tenants affords Mr. Williams the clarity to see how each side perceives a potential transaction. This enables him to provide his clients with deep market nowledge and realistic expectations that lead to informed and financially beneficial decisions.
Mr. Williams’ market knowledge and negotiating ability ensure that each of his clients is leveraged to their maximum benefit. On behalf of landlords in particular, Mr. Williams generates fresh, creative marketing ideas that maximize awareness and create much-needed differentiation in the marketplace.
Priot to joining Newmark, Mr. Williams was an office broker with Colliers international from 2006 to 2012 and with Norris & Stevens from 2005 to 2006.

Mr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Oregon. He also attended Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
