Joseph Ferranti, MAI, joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2018 and currently serves as a Senior Vice President in the company’s New York headquarters. A 22-year industry veteran, Joseph has successfully completed appraisals for a wide variety of property types, including existing and proposed industrial, office, retail, apartments (cooperative and condominium) and mixed-use.
Joseph joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory after serving as a Vice President for eight years with CBRE, Inc. In this capacity, Joseph was responsible for a wide variety of appraisal work, which included market rent studies and feasibility reports as well as appraisal review assignments and litigation support.
Prior to CBRE, Inc., Joseph was a Director for eight years with Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory group. As a member of the multifamily appraisal team, he played an integral role in appraisals of some of the most prominent residential buildings in New York City.
Prior to his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Joseph was a staff appraiser at Emigrant Funding Corporation for three years and Jamaica Savings Bank for two years.

Education
Joseph earned a Master of Science degree in real estate with a focus on valuation from New York University. He previously earned a Bachelor of Science Administration degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
