As a Director with Newmark, Jordyn Comras supports the New York leasing team on both landlord and tenant representation projects by actively seeking out new business opportunities, updating the mapping and listing databases and collecting pertinent marketing materials.
Comras works on behalf of several prominent landlords, including AR Global, Bettina Equities, Brookfield Properties, GFI Hospitality, The Hakimian Organization, Marx Realty, Silverstein Properties and The Winter Organization. She also helps advise Lefrak in its portfolio of properties in Manhattan.
On the tenant side, Comras works with Adidas and its subsidiary brands, LVMH-owned Benefit cosmetics, Los Angeles-based cashmere brand The Elder Statesman, global fitness and spa tenant Exhale, national Pilates company Club Pilates, SEE Eyewear and British design and home goods brand House of Hackney.
Comras’s most notable recent transactions include the leasing of approximately 4,600 square feet at 1515 Broadway to LINE Friends for its first U.S. flagship store, approximately 25,000 square feet at 79-97 Seventh Avenue to Safavieh, 935 Madison Avenue to Joe Bananas for its first U.S. store, 1033 Lexington Avenue to homenature for its Upper East Side flagship, the entire retail/residential building at 66 Horatio for The Elder Statesman, approximately 4,000 square feet for Exhale’s Gramercy relocation on 32nd Street, and the retail at the Ace Hotel in NoMad to Milk Bar for its first Manhattan flagship.
Comras joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF, a New York-based retail real estate brokerage and investment firm. She joined RKF in 2015 as a Canvasser in the firm’s New York office and was soon promoted to Associate. Comras is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York.
Prior to joining RKF, Comras interned during the summers of 2014 and 2015 at Vornado Realty Trust, where she conducted lease analyses, drafted letters of intent and aided in the valuation of more than 2.4 million square feet of retail space for annual budget analysis reports. In the summer of 2013, she worked in the leasing department at Kering, where she assembled retailer lists, performed market research and became familiar with the brands specific needs.
Comras is a member of the Young Men’s and Women’s Real Estate Association (YMWREA).
Comras graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in urban design and architecture studies and a minor in Business Studies.
