John Jennings joined Newmark in December of 2015 as a Senior Managing Director in the company’s San Diego office, bringing with him more than 20 years of leasing and investment sale experience in the retail industry. Based in San Diego, John leads the retail leasing team which provides clients with best-in-class real estate services throughout Southern California. He works with his team to design and implement creative leasing strategies that maximize the value of client assets and has extensive experience with value-add repositioning, anchor box leasing and strategic tenant representation.
In addition to his leasing role, John focuses on strategic private capital investment sale transactions and supports the institutional investment sale platform led by his senior partner, Pete Bethea.
Since 2015, John has conducted more than 975 transactions worth in excess of $2.1 billion. John currently represents over 65 retail shopping centers totaling more than 7.0 million square feet throughout Southern CA.
