Joel Maimon is a senior managing director at the firm’s Oakland office. His focus on achieving client goals through his strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, personal integrity and attention to detail are the traits that has enabled him to maintain long-term relationships with his clients. The foundation of Joel’s service to his clients is built upon carefully listening to every detail of his client’s needs. This has enabled him to craft real estate strategies that result in optimal outcomes for his clients.
As an advisor to his clients, Joel provides a wide range of services, including renewal and relocation negotiations that provide present and future needs analysis, strategic planning, market surveys and comparisons, financial analysis and purchase versus lease evaluations. He represents international, national and regional businesses and non-profits occupying office space in the East Bay and elsewhere throughout the United States.
In 2017 and 2019, Joel received a Real Estate Deal of the Year award from the San Francisco Business Times. Joel was honored as the No. 1 agent in Newmark’s Oakland office in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2017. He was also a Top 5 Agent in the Oakland office every year from 2007 through 2019. In 2009 and 2010, Joel ranked 16th on the firm’s NorCal Top 20 list, consisting of more than 300 agents. In 2005, he was honored as one of the firm’s Top Rookies
