Executive Managing Director Joseph Morris is a member of Newmark’s International Capital Markets group, responsible for Middle Eastern Capital Markets. With over 18 years of experience in real estate investment, Morris has executed over $10 billion in transactions across all major real estate sectors. Based in the Middle East for over 13 years, Morris is incredibly experienced at working with sovereign, institutional and private capital on international real estate investment allocations.
Prior to joining Newmark, Morris led Knight Frank’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) capital markets team. Within this role, he sat on the company’s Global Capital Markets Board – the committee responsible for the strategic direction of all company investment teams internationally – as well as the Middle East leadership committee. Morris was also part of the founding team of National Bank of Abu Dhabi’s investment management platform responsible for raising and deploying capital for a MENA real estate fund. He started his career in London with Strutt & Parker (now BNP Paribas) focused on London investment and development advisory.

Education
Morris holds a First Class Honors degree in American Business from Swansea University and a master’s degree in property valuation and law from City, University of London’s Cass Business School.
