Joe Morris, Vice Chairman, is a member of the international capital markets team at Newmark, responsible for Middle East capital markets and client coverage. With over 22 years experience in real estate investment, he has worked across all major real estate sectors with over $20bn of executed transaction experience.
Based in the Middle East for 17 years, Morris works with sovereign, institutional and private capital on real estate investment allocations internationally. Prior to Newmark, he sat within Cantor Fitzgerald’s capital markets business, responsible for Middle East capital markets. Before this, Morris established and led Knight Frank’s (KF) MENA capital markets team, where he sat Global Capital Markets Board – the committee responsible for the strategic direction of all KF investment teams internationally – as well as the Middle East leadership committee. Morris was also part of the founding team of National Bank of Abu Dhabi’s (now FAB) investment management platform responsible for raising and deploying capital for a MENA real estate fund.

Education
He holds a First Class Honours degree in American Business from Swansea University and a Master’s degree in Property Valuation and Law from Cass Business School.
