Based in Newmark’s San Rafael office, Joe McCallum focuses on the full cycle of commercial asset brokerage, including investment sales, agency leasing and change of use repositioning throughout the North Bay Area of California. Mr. McCallum launched his brokerage career in 2018, after previously serving as research coordinator of Newmark’s North Bay offices. Mr. McCallum has worked with Newmark full time since 2014, after first interning with the firm the previous year.

Community Engagement
Mr. McCallum is engaged in the North Bay business community and serves on the Board of Directors of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, actively involved in its Governmental Affairs Committee. Mr. McCallum is a member of the Rotary Club of San Rafael, which has an organizational focus on charitable causes, both local and international. Mr. McCallum has also civically served as an appointed member of the City of San Rafael Citizens Advisory Committee on Economic Development & Affordable Housing.
Education
Mr. McCallum is a graduate of the University of Oregon, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in general social science with a focus in applied business and economics and a minor in computer information technology. Mr. McCallum was raised in Marin County and graduated from Sir Francis Drake High School.
