Jeff Carson, MAI joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2018 as a Senior Vice President. Based in West Palm Beach, Florida, Jeff specializes in the appraisal, brokerage, consulting and expert witness services for marinas, boat yards, ship yards, cargo terminals and working waterfront properties around the world.
His appraisal expertise also extends to residential, office, retail, industrial, special purpose, mixed-use and vacant land assets. Jeff’s work as an expert witness has been cited in waterfront litigation matters in United States circuit and federal courts as well as in the High Court in Dublin, Ireland and The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.
Jeff began his appraisal career in 1985. Since then, he has earned the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. Jeff is a certified general real estate appraiser in the state of Florida and holds temporary appraisal licenses in over 25 other states. He is also a published real estate author and quoted expert witness.
