Jamie Jacobs joined Newmark in 2005 at the firm’s Manhattan headquarters. Jacobs focuses on providing strategic real estate advisory services to both owners and tenants throughout the New York Metropolitan region.
Jacobs currently represents the TF Cornerstone New York portfolio, which includes Carnegie Hall Tower (152 West 57th), 645 Madison Avenue and 387 Park Avenue South. As one of the leading members of the leasing and marketing team, Jacobs oversees more than 1 million square feet of Class A office space and plays a vital role in ensuring that each building is consistently at least 95% leased while constantly repositioning and enhancing its renowned tenant roster.
Additionally, Jacobs has represented several properties in Lower Manhattan, totaling more than 1.5 million square feet. Buildings have included 26 Broadway, 17 Battery Place, 2 Washington Street and 90 John Street. In this capacity, Jacobs is a leading advisor on downtown incentive programs.
Jacobs is also an experienced tenant advocate, having represented tenants such as Max Brenner International, Fenway Partners, GRX Capital Management, Six Flags Entertainment, The Academy of American Poets, Hadley Partners, Fergus Partnership Consulting, Whitehall Advisors, Silvergate Media and NBTV Studios.
Prior to joining Newmark, Jacobs began her career at RFR Realty, where she gained substantial experience in real estate development, property management, leasing and operational services.
Jacobs is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), 100 Women in Hedge Funds and the National Association of Women Business Owners. In addition, she volunteers with the Pajama Program, a not-for-profit group focused on assisting children who have been displaced from their families.
Education
Jacobs holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University as well as a minor in business from the Kelley School of Business.
