Jakob Nicholls first joined Newmark in October of 2017 in the firm’s office in Portland, Oregon. Nicholls works as part of the west coast capital markets team advising on and executing institutional investment sales, debt, and structured finance transactions in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to rejoining Newmark in June of 2022, Nicholls spent two years at Libertas Companies in Portland, Oregon on the investments team focused on the acquisition and asset management of commercial and multifamily properties in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.

Nicholls is an active member of NAIOP’s Oregon Chapter and sits on both the Developing Leaders Board and Membership Committee.
Education
Nicholls graduated from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business in 2017, where he earned Bachelors in Science in Business Administration with double majors in real estate and finance.
