Greg Thompson currently serves as a Senior Appraiser in Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Mobile, Alabama, office. With more than 15 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience, Thompson focuses on the valuation of commercial real estate properties in Mississippi and Alabama.
Thompson has extensive experience in the valuation of a variety of real estate properties. These valuations have included CBD, suburban, medical and government-leased office properties; neighborhood, community and power shopping centers; various industrial properties such as warehouse, distribution centers, cold-storage facilities and flex properties; self-storage facilities; single-tenant net leased properties; multifamily residential apartment complexes; mixed-use developments; raw land and development sites; religious facilities and various other special-purpose properties.
Thompson came to Newmark after serving as a senior appraiser for nearly 15 years at Real Estate Matrix, LLC. He began his career in 2006 as a residential real estate appraiser, where he worked at AGC Appraisal Company until transitioning to the valuation of commercial real estate properties in 2011.

Thompson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Science in Business Administration (Logistics) from the University of Auburn.
