Govinda Singh serves as an Executive Director and Regional Lead for Newmark - Asia Pacific, Hospitality Valuation & Advisory (V&A) division. Based in Singapore, Mr. Singh has over 15 years of real estate and business valuation experience, managing teams and valuations across Asia and the UK.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Singh worked for 8 years with Colliers, as Executive Director, Hotels & Leisure Capital Markets, Hotels & Real Estate Advisory & Valuations, Asia Pacific. During this time, he led the Singapore Valuation & Advisory, Destination Consulting and Plant & Machinery Valuation teams. Prior to this, he spent 9 years with BDO/PKF in a variety of roles in the UK covering EMEA and the Caribbean as a consultant, in addition to over 10 years’ experience in senior finance roles as an accountant.
Mr. Singh has worked in multiple destinations throughout the Asia Pacific, including the UAE, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, China, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand.
In addition to his valuation, consulting and finance leadership positions, Mr. Singh has extensive experience advising HNWI, institutions and financiers for major transactions and portfolios, with direct market experience across 16 countries in the Asia Pacific. Mr. Singh is also a well-known and experienced professional undertaking feasibility studies, hotel operator searches and selection, property, business and P&M valuations, economic and concept studies for hotels and resorts, golf courses, marinas, theme parks, MICE, sports and leisure centers, large-scale mixed-use developments, casinos and integrated resorts.
