Giselle Castro joined Newmark in the firm’s Orange County, California, office in 2016. As a Senior Marketing Director, Castro provides operational leadership, strategy implementation, and scalable processes for the Western Region Marketing Center, ensuring the continued development of best practices. Castro plays an integral role in supporting marketing and business development collaborations across all property types and business lines through the seamless coordination of resources to ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed in an accurate and timely manner. This is bolstered by her ability to analyze business data and identify opportunities to optimize the performance of the marketing team, thus improving processes and exceeding business objectives.
Prior to joining Newmark, Castro spent eight years at CBRE as a Marketing Manager. In this role, she managed an in-house marketing team of 11, who created highly customized proposals and presentations for the firm’s capital markets business line. During this time, her success spanned globally, helping to secure more than $3 billion in revenue between 2013 and 2015, both in sales and financing assignments.
Previously, Castro was a Graphic Designer at KB Home, where she was part of the marketing department’s rendering team and assisted in successfully spearheading the launch of the first seven original KB Home/Martha Stewart home collections located across the United States.
Education
Castro holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design and a minor in Illustration from California State University, Fullerton.
