Gilbert Dailey serves as Vice Chairman in Newmark’s Boston office, where he specializes in the representation of tenants and landlords in leasing and sales transactions. He has consistently been recognized as a Top 100 Producers internationally at Newmark, where he co-manages Newmark’s Downtown Lease Advisory Team.

Mr. Dailey has sourced and led real estate advisory teams on several marquee Boston leases. The following are examples of clients who he has represented on multiple leases and/or headquarters transactions: Arrowstreet Capital (255,000 SF), Bain Capital (700,000+ SF), Brown Brothers Harriman (650,000 SF), Choate (160,000 SF), HarbourVest (280,000 SF), Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (2,000,000 SF), JP Morgan Chase (600,000 SF), and MAPFRE USA (250,000 SF). Additionally, he has overseen several 100,000 SF+ leases outside of Massachusetts, including in California, Florida (awarded Florida’s Deal of the Year for a 250,000 SF build to suit in Orlando), Illinois, Maine (build to suit), Missouri, New Jersey, New York, and Texas (built to suit). Many of his clients have engaged him internationally as well including in Australia, Canada, China, England, Germany, Ireland, and Japan.
He works with clients of all sizes and has represented thousands of transactions between 2,000 and 100,000 square feet.
His landlord advisory work has included many of Boston’s most iconic office towers including One & Two International Place, 200 Clarendon Street (aka The John Hancock Tower), One Lincoln Street, and One Boston Place.

Mr. Dailey is a graduate of Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. He supports various charitable organizations including, TENACITY’s Corporate Outreach, Home Base and Boston PAL. He and his wife Melissa live in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where they have raised three daughters.
