As Chief Accounting Officer, Ghada Mahmassani leads Newmark’s global accounting operations overseeing financial reporting, controllership, technical accounting, internal controls, integrations, and finance transformation initiatives that support the company’s strategic growth. Mahmassani drives accounting policy, process modernization and integration efforts across the platform, ensuring accuracy, transparency and operational rigor.
Mahmassani brings more than two decades of experience spanning corporate controllership, M&A integration, IPO readiness, global finance operations, finance transformation, and technical accounting. Prior to Newmark, she held leadership roles at Compass, Avenues: The World School, Cushman & Wakefield and PwC, where she managed multinational finance teams and led complex integration and transformation projects across the U.S. and international markets.
She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and holds certifications in COSO Internal Controls and IFRS.
Education
Mahmassani earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.
