Gerard McLaughlin joined Newmark in 1977 at the company’s Pittsburgh office, where he currently serves as an Executive Managing Director.
Highly skilled at creative real estate strategy and negotiation, McLaughlin has for over 45 years successfully developed and implemented commercial real estate solutions for over 52 million square feet of industrial and office space. He has provided portfolio oversight and managed transactions on a local, national and international basis for a host of companies. Owner representation includes Alter Group, Carnegie Properties, Computer Associates, Crossgates Inc., Crossharbor Capital, Equitable Life Assurance, Forest City, Foster International Development, Gem Investors, Hillman Properties, JMB Properties Company, Keystone Property Group, Legg Mason, Lexington Properties and Wyatt Corporation. Consistently ranked as one of the top 20 real estate professionals at Newmark, McLaughlin has been a member of the firm’s Circle of Excellence since 1993. He has also received the firm’s President’s Award for outstanding achievement as well as the President’s Council designation, awarded for outstanding production and leadership.
McLaughlin is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and has attained its Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) designation.
A native of Pittsburgh, McLaughlin graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.
