Geoffrey Millerd joined Newmark in 2015 and currently serves as a vice chairman in the Boston office, where he specializes in the marketing and disposition of retail assets.
During a career spanning 23 years, Mr. Millerd has represented many of the nation’s top institutions, and has closed more than 150 investment sales transactions. He and his team have sold more than $10 billion of retail properties in the northeast United States.

Millerd previously served as an executive vice president with Cushman & Wakefield’s Boston-based Capital Markets Group.
Mr. Millerd is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and a six-time recipient of its Retail Investments Sales Award. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a guest lecturer at Babson College.
Mr. Millerd holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business. He resides with his wife Michelle and daughters Bailey and Mackenzie in Cohasset, Massachusetts.
