Ernest Kiser, Jr. joined Newmark’s Atlanta office in 2009. Mr. Kiser specializes in providing real estate advisory services to government and corporate clients. His experience includes office space lease acquisitions, lease renewals, restructuring, sale-leaseback and build-to-suit objectives for clients in the Southeast region. Mr. Kiser focuses on aligning real estate needs with overall organizational goals, selecting optimum sites, analyzing financial alternatives to reduce occupancy costs and increase operating efficiencies. With more than 20 years of business experience, Mr. Kiser leverages his consulting, finance and contract negotiations to offer clients a strategic and comprehensive approach to evaluating requirements while providing quality real estate services.
Additionally, Mr. Kiser represented the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under the VA’s national brokerage service contract for several years. He has also utilized the General Services Administration (GSA) lease acquisition process to complete succeeding leases, full lease procurements, build-to-suit projects, due diligence and source selection acquisitions on behalf of various government agencies.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Kiser was a member of the tenant advisory services team at Transwestern. He has completed assignments for a wide variety of companies and the following is a list of successful transaction and satisfied customers.

Mr. Kiser earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Mr. Kiser earned his CCIM designation and completed the ULI-recognized, Real Estate Associate Program (REAP).
