Erik Sternisha joined Newmark in 2023 and currently serves as the Head of Corporate Procurement in the company’s Chicago, Illinois, office. A 20-year Supply Chain Procurement veteran, Erik has substantial expertise in end-to-end Procurement, including building & leading several Procurement organizations. He has led major cost management initiatives resulting in several billion dollars in savings. Erik is also known as a Procurement Technology expert for all technologies across the Source-to-Pay continuum (Supply & Demand Pro-to-Know in 2018).
Erik came to Newmark after serving as Sr. Vice President for nine years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he led Procurement and oversaw procurement strategy for the merger & acquisition of three major Commercial Real Estate firms. After the completion of his Procurement Transformation, Erik led the Global Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) and was responsible for all Global Procurement Policy, Process, Technology, Governance, and Supplier Management (including Supplier Diversity & DEI).

Erik graduated from The University of St. Francis, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Finance & Economics). Erik was also a 4-year captain of the Baseball Team and 2-year President of the Student Business Council.
