Edward Goldmeier has more than 40 years of experience in the shopping center industry in sales, leasing, and the development/redevelopment of a variety of retail property types. This includes regional malls, mini-malls, strip centers, and free-standing properties. Mr. Goldmeier has also been instrumental in developing strategies for retailers to effectively enter the highly competitive Washington, DC, and Baltimore metropolitan areas. He manages the national and regional expansion programs of several retailers. As one of the first real estate professionals to earn the CLS (Certified Leasing Specialist) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Mr. Goldmeier is also an inaugural recipient of the CRX (Certified Retail Property Executive) designation of the ICSC introduced in 2013. His market expertise is regularly sought out by the FDIC’s regional office in Richmond, Virginia, while putting together Beige Book reports.
