Colby Scruggs joined Newmark in 2018 and currently serves as a First Vice President in the company’s Rutherford, New Jersey office, bringing more than ten years of commercial real estate appraisal and consulting experience. Scruggs has substantial expertise in the valuation of commercial real estate properties including appraisals, market studies and feasibility analysis of a wide variety of property types. His experience includes apartment, mixed-use, condominium, retail, industrial, office and vacant land parcels throughout New Jersey with a specialization in multifamily, mixed-use and proposed development properties.
Scruggs joined Newmark after serving as a Senior Appraiser for seven years with CBRE, Inc. In this capacity, Scruggs was responsible for leading the multifamily specialty group within northern and central New Jersey.
