Chris Van Hoeymissen is Executive Managing Director, Corporate Development for Newmark’s Global Corporate Services (GCS) group, an integrated global platform that provides seamless, beginning-to-end corporate services solutions to clients around the world. Van Hoeymissen’s primary responsibilities include analysis, strategy and execution of corporate development work including contract management, negotiations and deal implementation.
For over two decades, Van Hoeymissen has worked at the forefront of real estate and facilities management, delivering operational excellence, complex change management and continuous improvement for large multinationals, both as a client and service provider. Based in Brussels and speaking four languages, Van Hoeymissen has substantial cultural insight, experience and local business knowledge gained from his global engagements.
Van Hoeymissen joined Newmark after five years at GL&C Consulting. As General Manager and senior consultant, he provided business planning advice and transition management expertise to corporate clients and management teams. He has also served in management roles during key transition periods at Morgan Stanley and Cushman and Wakefield.
Van Hoeymissen’s diverse experience includes senior international roles. As Managing Director with Deutsche Bank, Corporate Real Estate Services, he served as Business Partner to the Bank’s regional and business line leaders across Europe, formulating portfolio strategies, service delivery platforms, metrics and reporting. As Chairman of the Footprint Program Management Office, he oversaw performance of global operations to deliver the Bank’s Operational Excellence targets; and as Global Lead Performance Management, Van Hoeymissen helped govern the Bank’s global outsourcing process, including the selection and negotiations with strategic partners for Facilities Management and Real Estate.
Earlier in his career, he was Vice President EMEA at Johnson Controls Global Workplace Solutions, leading major contract negotiations and implementing international accounts, including P&G, Philips, Cadbury and Maersk. He also held multiple roles within Group 4 Falck (G4S) including European Sales Manager.

Van Hoeymissen has a Bachelor of Arts and Design from the Institut St. Thomas in Brussels and a Master of Interior Architecture from St. Lucas Gent in Ghent. He also has a post-graduate Certificate from Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School.
