Brian Carcaterra joined Newmark in 2025, where he serves as an Executive Managing Director in the firm’s Stamford, Connecticut office and specializes in office tenant and landlord representation. With more than 20 years of experience across both the brokerage and ownership sides of the business, Carcaterra brings a well-rounded perspective to the firm’s agency platform and advisory capabilities.
Prior to Newmark, Carcaterra was Executive Vice President at Building and Land Technology, overseeing leasing efforts for an 8 million-square-foot national office portfolio. Before that, he spent over a decade at CBRE, where he held senior leadership roles focused on multi-market tenant representation, advising financial services and private equity companies and global hedge funds. On the ownership side, he represented more than 3.5 million square feet of agency assignments across Westchester and Fairfield counties and spearheaded the largest single-owned portfolio in the market.
A decorated, former professional lacrosse player and three-time All-American goalkeeper at Johns Hopkins University, Carcaterra brings competitive drive, strategic discipline and a collaborative approach to every assignment.
