As Senior Vice President of Newmark’s Property Management division, Brett Williams is focused on leading strategic client relationships and supporting the continued expansion of its Property Management business. Williams elevates strategic client partnerships and portfolio performance across office, industrial, retail, mixed-use, and specialized assets, including hospitality-forward environments. As executive sponsor for key accounts, he aligns asset and portfolio strategies with client objectives to help drive stronger net operating income, occupancy, retention and cost efficiency while reducing risk.
Williams pairs his extensive experience with a deep understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals to lend immediate credibility to complex institutional assignments. He is a key architect of an integrated service delivery model that merges operational excellence with sustainability and hospitality. Notably, during his tenure as the executive lead for Presence by Cushman & Wakefield, he leveraged the tenant experience platform to fundamentally rethink the service delivery of property management. By prioritizing tenant engagement and a hospitality-driven approach to building operations, he transformed traditional assets into high-touch environments that maximize retention and long-term asset value.
Williams brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate management experience overseeing portfolios totaling more than 200 million square feet across the United States and Canada. Prior to Newmark, he served as Executive Managing Director, Central Region/Canada Lead, Asset Services at Cushman & Wakefield, where he oversaw property management operations across a diverse portfolio of office, industrial and retail assets and led more than 1,000 employees. In that role, he also helped lead major national initiatives tied to tenant experience, building operations and business development. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Williams held senior leadership positions at Transwestern and Madison Marquette, where he helped drive operational consistency, service delivery and growth across major commercial real estate portfolios.
