Benjamin Cullum is Senior Director and Head of Valuations for the Middle East at Newmark. With more than two decades of leadership experience across the UK and GCC, he advises on major mixed-use developments, large banking portfolios and government-led strategic initiatives throughout Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE.
Before joining Newmark, Cullum served as Head of Valuations and Advisory MENA at Chestertons International, where he rebuilt and led a multijurisdictional team delivering more than $21 billion in annual real estate valuations. In that role, he drove significant revenue growth and advanced regulatory compliance across the region. His earlier leadership included serving as General Manager and Country Head for Hamptons International & Partners in Oman, overseeing valuation, strategic asset management, development consultancy and property management operations.
Cullum is recognized for deep market insight, proven team leadership and a sophisticated understanding of complex, multi-asset portfolios across the Middle East.
Education
Cullum is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having gained chartered status in 2005. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Management and Valuation from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He also completed the Oxford Executive Finance Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
