Benjamin A. Tate joined Newmark in the spring of 2017 as a founding member of the firm’s Valuation & Advisory Healthcare & Seniors House Specialty Practice. Currently serving as Vice President, he brings seven years of specialized experience in the real estate appraisal industry, in both private and government sectors. Based in the firm’s downtown West Palm Beach office, Benjamin leads seniors housing-oriented valuation services throughout the Southeast, Central, and West regions of the United States.
At Newmark, Ben prepares valuation and consulting assignments for commercial real estate assets. He specializes in healthcare-related properties including behavioral healthcare facilities, surgery centers, medical office buildings, hospice, and seniors housing assets. His experience also includes market rent studies, going concern valuations, and highest and best use analyses for national healthcare providers. Clients have included commercial banks, developers, corporations, individual property owners, public agencies, insurance companies and legal firms.
Prior to Newmark, Ben was with Salus Valuation Group, Inc., a national healthcare valuation firm based in Atlanta. He began his career in real estate working as a full-time Realtor for more than two years with Keller Williams.

Ben attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
