Benjamin A. Tate joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in the spring of 2017 as a founding member of the firm’s Valuation & Advisory Healthcare & Seniors Housing practice. In this role, Tate prepared valuation and consulting assignments for healthcare-oriented commercial real estate assets. His appraisal and consulting assignments have included behavioral healthcare facilities, surgery centers, medical office buildings, hospice, and seniors housing assets.
Prior to Newmark, Tate was with Salus Valuation Group, Inc., a national healthcare valuation firm based in Atlanta. The appraisal and consulting assignments Tate completed in this role includes market rent studies, going concern valuations, and highest and best use analyses for national healthcare providers. Clients Tate serviced include: commercial banks, developers, corporations, individual property owners, public agencies, insurance companies and legal firms.

Tate attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
