Art Ross leads Newmark’s Southern New England/Hudson Valley New York industrial team in the company’s Hartford, Connecticut, office specializing in the sale and leasing of industrial properties throughout the Northeast. Since joining Newmark in 2015, he has focused on growing the industrial service line in New England, targeting southern New England and New York. As a tenant representative, landlord representative and sales agent, Art has completed more than 10.0 million square feet in industrial transactions for the firm.
Prior to joining Newmark, Art was vice president and a partner at Hart Corporation, one of the nation’s leading real estate firms for industrial facilities in non-metropolitan areas. During his 26-year career with Hart, he was responsible for its real estate services in New England and New York.

- Winstanley Enterprises: Leased or sold 2.15 million SF in portfolio spanning North Springfield, VT; Brattleboro, VT; Westbrook, ME; Chicopee, MA; East Hartford, CT; Farmington, CT; and Windsor CT
- MS York LLC: Leased 725,531 SF at 200 Westinghouse Road, Horseheads, NY and later sold the 800,000 SF property

- Vision Real Estate Partners: Acquired a 550,000 SF flex industrial portfolio in Bloomfied CT, and then directed 215,000 SF of new leases
