Ari Baetiong is the global lead of the Transition & Governance team of Newmark’s Global Corporate Services division. For more than 15 years, he has been advising owners and operators in critical decision making throughout the entire real estate life cycle, with extensive experience with multinational, geographically dispersed portfolios. He works with clients and Newmark account leaders to develop smooth transitions, effective and meaningful change management, and sustainable ongoing governance throughout the course of the relationship.
Ari also oversees the onboarding of new client accounts and actively develops and manages the ongoing governance framework of these accounts. Working with the account director, his team develops and implements organizational processes, procedures and best practices to ensure that Newmark adheres to its contractual, compliance, sustainability and fiduciary responsibilities through the life of the relationship. He is responsible for the planning, organization, direction, and control of these activities, optimizing the utilization of all cross-functional resources within Newmark. Together with regional leaders, he participates in the formulation of overall service line objectives, performance measures, diversity and inclusion policies and plans specific to the scope of services for each client.
Ari joined Newmark from CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions group, working alongside global leaders in the solutioning of multi-service accounts. Prior to CBRE, Ari spent 10 years in management consulting, first with Ernst & Young’s Real Estate & Hospitality M&A practice, and later with Trascent Management Consulting. He has worked with real estate leaders in national and multinational real estate outsourcing endeavors, from first generation events to strategic realignments and expansions.
