Ari Baetiong serves as Senior Vice President of Occupier Advisory, where he leads strategic initiatives that help global occupiers navigate change, integrate acquisitions, and evolve their real estate operating models. His role spans enterprise transitions, M&A integration, governance design, and cross-functional planning. His view is always towards enabling smarter, faster decision-making across client and internal teams.
Since joining Newmark in 2019, Baetiong has been a trusted partner to both clients and executive leadership, helping the firm scale its capabilities across complex accounts, multi-region portfolios, and dynamic change environments. He has also been involved in Newmark’s own transformation and transition management, including managing M&A due diligence and post-merger integration of recently-acquired entities. Newmark and Cantor Fitzgerald’s executive committees have relied on him to develop and implement organizational processes, procedures and best practices.
Baetiong joined Newmark from CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions group, working alongside global leaders in the solutioning of multi-service accounts. Prior to CBRE, Ari spent 10 years in management consulting, first with EY’s Real Estate & Hospitality M&A practice, and later with Trascent Management Consulting. He has worked with corporate leaders in national and multinational transformation endeavors, from first-generation events to strategic realignments and expansions.
Baetiong’s work often sits upstream of service delivery, connecting vision to execution through clear alignment, operating discipline, and an understanding of how transformation lands across real estate, finance and business.
