As Newmark’s Vice President of Property Management for Ohio, Andrew Hopkins is responsible for overseeing the delivery of client services to more than 9.3 million square feet of commercial real estate and implementing best practices, policies and procedures that will maximize the value of his clients’ real estate assets. Mr. Hopkins has extensive knowledge of overall property operations, including expense reduction; strategic and forward-thinking solutions for property operations and staffing; and the development of strategic, sustainable initiatives. He is also responsible for business development to maximize growth and profitability for the region.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Hopkins honed his prowess in property management by serving in a number of roles at Jones Lang LaSalle, CB Richard Ellis and most recently Cushman & Wakefield, where he led the asset services division of the Columbus office. As a senior vice president, Mr. Hopkins was responsible for ensuring best-in-class service delivery to institutional and private equity investors while maintaining corporate profitability objectives. Over the course of his career, he has acquired invaluable experience in international consulting; multi-market management; strategic outsourcing; account leadership of owner-occupier and institutional asset ownership assignments; and brokerage support, on behalf of a 2 million-square-foot, Class A office portfolio based in Central Ohio. Mr. Hopkins utilizes his flexibility and understanding of leadership, operational strategy and finance to consistently exceed client expectations and bolster existing relations.
