Amy O’Brien is Managing Director, Marketing & Communications with Newmark’s Global Corporate Services (GCS) group, an integrated global platform that provides seamless, beginning-to-end corporate services solutions to clients around the world. O’Brien is responsible for the GCS brand both internally and externally in the marketplace. Prior to this assignment, O’Brien was Senior HR Business Partner also supporting GCS.
O’Brien has served in multiple management roles leveraging strategic business vision and leading execution to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. She is a proven communicator and team builder, who creates positive and productive work cultures, propelling external and internal partnerships.
O’Brien joined Newmark GCS in 2021 after 8 years at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). As Vice President of Sourcing and Partnerships she provided program leadership of all supplier relationship and growth objectives for an e-commerce platform. She also served in various regional leadership roles for sourcing and procurement, championing sourcing strategies for clients, and was responsible for hiring, onboarding and training all new employees.
Previously, O’Brien worked at Firth Rixson as a Supply Chain Manager where she spearheaded innovative strategies to reduce waste, optimize production, and broker sales of excess materials to increase cash flow. She also served as Program Manager for IEC Electronics, Senior Subcontracts Administrator at Goodrich ISR Systems (UTC Aerospace Systems) and Lockheed Martin, and Human Resources Systems Coordinator for Unity Health System.

O’Brien graduated from the State University of New York in Oswego with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Economics. She also holds a MBA in Leadership and Consulting from Binghamton University.
