Amber Lariza is an Executive Managing Director with the firm’s Occupier Solutions consulting team. She is dedicated to the analysis, research, and implementation of holistic real estate solutions. Lariza leads portfolio strategy and specializes in long term real estate planning, workplace strategy, and data diagnostics.
As a Portfolio Strategist, she provides assessments designed to surface business risks and real estate value opportunities and executable, tactical, and strategic real estate plans mapped to corporate strategies. Lariza is a co-founder of NewliticQuest, a holistic, diagnostic tool that examines people, place, process, and purpose to help clients understand how to best optimize their portfolio of assets. As a Workplace Strategist, she focuses on demand planning, multi-decision criteria development, programming, occupancy scenario development, utilization studies, Alternate Workplace Strategy (AWS) analysis, schematic design/test-fits, and generating cost models.
Lariza has experience in a wide variety of project types. Before joining Newmark, Lariza was a Planning Analysis and Designer at Colliers International Advisory Services Group. There she focused on adaptive reuse projects, facility and capital planning, and project management. Earlier in her career, she was a Junior Architect at California-based W. Morris Architects, where most projects were in the gaming and hospitality industry, and complexes contained large areas of retail, office, and residential uses. Additionally, Lariza was with New York City-based Ismael Leyva Architects, who were the residential consultants for Frank Gehry’s Atlantic Yards.
