Alexandra Tennenbaum began her career at Newmark in 2014 and currently serves as a Senior Managing Director.
Since joining the firm, Tennenbaum has played a key role in expanding Newmark’s international client base and strengthening its high street and national retail business. She has been instrumental in several high-profile transactions, including Moncler’s flagship relocation to 767 Fifth Avenue; Alo Yoga’s 8,000-square-foot flagship at 600 Fifth Avenue as well as their Boston flagship in the Prudential Center; and Canali’s lease at 600 Madison Avenue. Tennenbaum also secured Manolo Blahnik’s first North American boutique and offices at 717 Madison Avenue, a Times Square flagship for JD Sports at 1466 Broadway, and Watches of Switzerland’s first New York City location at 60 Greene Street.
Tennenbaum currently represents a distinguished roster of global brands, including Alo, American Vintage, Blue Bottle Coffee, Coach, Ernesta, GANNI, Grand Seiko, JD Sports, Messika, On Running, PureGym, The RealReal, The Swatch Group, Thuma, and Watches of Switzerland. She advises nearly all of her clients on their U.S. expansions, fostering long-term relationships with leading landlords across the country.
On the landlord representation side, Tennenbaum has worked with prominent property owners such as Columbia Property Trust, GFP Real Estate, Hines, Related Companies, RFR, Rockefeller Group, Skyline Developers, SL Green Realty Corp., and Stonehenge Management LLC.
Tennenbaum is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of New York and an active member of both the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
