Alex Hedaya serves as an Associate Director with Newmark in New York City. He specializes in both landlord and tenant representation in Manhattan and the outer boroughs.
Hedaya is currently marketing several high-profile retail opportunities in Brooklyn. He is part of the retail leasing team seeking tenants for 27,543 square feet at 187 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg. At 205 Smith Street, also in Boerum Hill, he is marketing 16,365 square feet, and at 461 Dean Street in Prospect Heights, he is seeking tenants for two spaces, one for 2,352 square feet and another for 867 square feet. In Long Island City, he is marketing 2,658 square feet at 42-20 27th Street. Hedaya joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF, a New York-based retail real estate brokerage and investment firm. He began his career with RKF in 2015 as a Canvasser, responsible for updating the firm’s proprietary maps and databases as well as collecting market information. Prior to RKF, Hedaya worked in production at Colordrift LLC and interned at Mann Bros. Inc.
