Alec Newman is a Managing Director with Newmark’s Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group in Century City. He has been a key member of the Newmark West Coast Multifamily Debt Platform since 2018, directly involved in the production and closing of over $5 billion in multifamily loans over the past 5 years. Newman specializes in GSE transactions, including market-rate, student, senior, affordable housing, and structured product types (credit facilities and A/B notes). He has experience with clients in the private capital, middle-market, and institutional space.

Newman is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis on Cinema.
