Newmark announces the Company has arranged the $35.7 million sale of 350 & 360 Salters Creek Road, a 231,000-square-foot Class A industrial campus in Hampton, Virginia. Newmark Executive Managing Directors Will Bradley and Mark Williford represented the seller, developer W.M. Jordan Company, in the transaction.
The property is fully leased to Huntington Ingalls (“HII”), the nation’s largest military shipbuilder and a leading service provider to the U.S. Navy. The facilities serve as secured warehousing and laydown yard space supporting operations at Newport News Shipbuilding, a critical site for nuclear aircraft carrier and submarine construction and retrofitting located just 3.5 miles away.
“This transaction reflects the opportunity to acquire a newly built, institutionally owned asset leased to a critical national security defense contractor,” said Bradley. “It underscores both the strength of Hampton Roads and the resilience of industrial capital markets.”
Completed in 2023, the campus comprises two 115,500-square-foot facilities strategically located at the intersection of I-64 and I-664 and within ten miles of all four Port of Virginia terminals.
The Hampton Roads industrial market is among the tightest in the nation, with vacancy well below the U.S. average and investor demand driven by port activity and defense-related tenancy. The region continues to attract institutional capital, reinforcing its position as a core industrial market.
