Newmark, one of the world’s leading real estate advisors, has hired Helge Zahrnt MRICS as Head of Research for Germany, underscoring its continued investment in market intelligence and growth in the country. Zahrnt joins Newmark alongside three additional research professionals, collectively strengthening the firm’s capabilities in data-driven advisory and in-depth market analysis.
In his new role, Zahrnt is responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the new division as well as the further growth of the team. In addition to close cooperation with the leasing and investment divisions, Zahrnt will work with the data analytics department to develop technological solutions for automated and precise market analyses for clients, with artificial intelligence playing a decisive role.

The new research group also includes three other experts, who will work from their areas of focus to ensure proximity to markets and client relationships:
- Laura Landvogt joins as Research Director, focused on the Frankfurt market.
- Andreas Slupik joins as Associate Research Director, focused on Düsseldorf and Cologne.
- Sebastian Becker joins as a Senior Research Analyst focused on the Hamburg market.
The four new researchers bring a wealth of experience to Newmark’s Germany operations. Zahrnt has spent nearly two decades in the industry, including time as head of research for a country-wide team. The group’s former employers include Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, Colliers International and Bulwiengesa.
