I am a leader in Newmark’s UK Planning and Development team with extensive experience advising leading UK and international owners, developers, investors, and occupiers across London.
A member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, I provide expert town planning and development advice across offices, mixed-use, retail and cultural sectors.
I am experienced across Central London, however, my core area of expertise is in advising owners, developers, investors, and occupiers in the City of London. As a board member and planning advisor to the City Property Association, I am at the forefront of debates and discussions around emerging policies and guidance in the City of London.

Key projects
- 50 Fenchurch Street – Working alongside The Clothworker’s Company, Axa Capital Real Estate Partners and Yard Nine I have advised on the planning application process for the approval for a sustainable, modern 36 storey office-led development. The scheme proposed a significant increase in office floorspace (94,336 sq m GIA) in a highly accessible location, along with retail accommodation and the reprovision of the Clothworkers’ Hall.
- London Museum – I advised the London Museum to achieve planning permission for the Museum’s new home at West Smithfield, providing a world-class temporary exhibition space, substantial expansion of learning facilities and greater visibility of the Museum’s collections and research arms. The scheme proposes over 40,000 sq m (GEA) in a mix of commercial uses. As part of the same application, I worked on behalf of the City Corporation on the Annexe site regeneration for a mix of commercial uses.
- Salisbury Square Development – Working closely with the City of London Corporation, Eric Parry Architects and the wider project team, bringing together the delivery of a new civic quarter in the Square Mile, I provided strategic planning advice and led consultation with the City of London, Historic England, the Greater London Authority and a range of other key stakeholders. We also developed a robust and compelling public benefits case that was necessary to justify this major new development along the historic processional route and within the Fleet Street Conservation Area. On completion, the scheme will create around 400 new jobs and support 2,100 more, whilst attracting significant new investment to the economy by strengthening the global appeal of the UK’s legal services. Designed to last at least 125 years, the new Justice Quarter will also help the Corporation meet its targets to achieve net zero across the Square Mile by 2040.
- London Wall West - A planning brief was prepared and agreed with the City of London Planning Department to assist the disposal of this prominent two-acre site on London Wall on behalf of its owners, the Corporation of London. I prepared the planning brief following a detailed public consultation exercise with interested parties, including the Barbican Estate. The brief was the first ever to be endorsed by the Corporation’s Planning and Transportation Committee. An indicative scheme was also designed for the site by KPF architects and was the subject of public consultation. We advised JP Morgan when it was considering this site as its new European Headquarters.
- 1-5 London Wall Buildings - On behalf of Endurance Land, I successfully secured planning and listed building consent for a two-storey office extension for additional office floor space as well as the creation of roof terraces and the significant refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing floorplates to create retail, office, assembly and leisure and drinking establishment floorspace.
