I’m a Senior Associate in Newmark’s Planning and Development team based in London, West End. I am responsible for providing development consultancy advice relating to valuation, appraisal and scheme viability, acquisition, disposal, and strategic planning on commercial, residential and mixed-use developments across London and the UK.
I am a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor (RICS) registered Valuer and Chartered Surveyor with extensive property industry experience, including a range of client side and consultancy development work.
While at Newmark, I have focused on development land and property valuation, providing financial viability in planning advice on commercial and residential developments. I also advise on development land and property transactions and provide strategic development advice to landowners and developers. Previously, I also worked at Development Securities Plc (now Land Securities Plc) where my role involved the development management of office and mixed-use development projects.

Projects
- Valuation – RICS Red Book, portfolio valuation, and expert valuation work relating to development land and property for public and private sector clients. Examples include, Kings College London central London property portfolio; a London based charitable trust on their south-east property portfolio; and expert valuation on a portfolio of residential and commercial assets formerly held by Targetfollow.
- Development Viability – Development and financial viability in planning advice on a range of commercial and residential developments. Examples include a 2,000 unit residential led, mixed-use regeneration scheme in Croydon for Croydon Council; a 160,000 sq ft retail enabling development as part of a 43 acre commercial scheme in East Anglia for Aquila; and a 600 unit high rise residential development on the Greenwich Peninsula, in central London for Quintain Estates and Development.
- Development Consultancy – Strategic development and planning advice to landowners and developers, including Jaguar Land Rover on a number of their sites in the Midlands; a charitable trust on their large riverfront redevelopment land holdings in Greenwich; and St John’s College Cambridge on their property holdings in Cambridgeshire.
- Transactions and Development Agency - Commercial and residential development land and property transaction advice. Examples include the conditional sale of a 10 acre retail redevelopment site in Dorking for a public and private sector consortium; a head lease re-gear and development agreement on a 100,000 sq ft Midland shopping centre redevelopment for Fairacre Asset Management; and advising the London Development Agency on the selection of a development partner for the 50 acre Silvertown Quays site, in London’s Royal Docks.
- Development Management - Of Phase 2 of Cambourne Business Park, an office development near Cambridge – where my work included appraisal and viability work, post completion leasing, and development project funding. I was also development manager on the Royals Business Park in London Docklands where my work covered development agreement related negotiations for this 50 acre mixed use scheme, development land disposal, post completion leasing, and development viability work.
