Adam is a Partner in our Planning and Development team based in the West End. He advises on land assembly, valuation and compensation for regeneration and infrastructure projects across the UK.
Adam acts on behalf of authorities in acquiring land either in advance of compulsory purchase or following the service of statutory notices. Adam is also an expert witness in various settings including public inquiries, compulsory acquisition hearings and references to the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).

- City of Westminster Council – acquisitions of non-resident leasehold interests in a Central London ‘island’ site to facilitate a new mixed-use development.
- DB Cargo (UK) Limited – acted for the claimant in respect of its compensation claim for Euston Carriage Works against High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd. The value of land taken was based on development value.
- London Borough of Brent – acted for the council in a mediation to determine the value of a former public house under an option agreement. The acquisition unlocked regeneration of a key development site.
- National Exhibition Centre Limited – acted for the claimant in respect of permanent land take and temporary possession claims pursuant to the M42 Junction 6 Development Consent Order 2020.
