Will Clark joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2018 as a Managing Director and Southeast regional leader of the firm’s Property Tax Services Practice. Based in the firm’s Atlanta office, Will is responsible for the growth, service offerings and financial performance of the Southeast region.
Throughout his career, Will has assisted clients in all phases of the property tax cycle: pre-acquisition due diligence; assessment reviews and appeals; informal negotiations with assessing officials; and presentations before formal boards of review and litigation. He has successfully reduced assessments for various property types, including: healthcare, office, warehouse, retail, industrial, hospitality and multifamily. He has managed regional and national portfolios for a variety of clients, including real estate investment trusts, institutional real estate investors, retailers and healthcare systems.
Prior to Newmark, Will was a director at Altus Group, where he managed the Atlanta office and was responsible for the review of various real estate properties totaling $16 billion in market value. Prior to his career in property tax consulting, Will was an office leasing and sales manager with The Simpson Organization, an Atlanta-based real estate investment firm.

Education
Will earned a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Design. While earning his master’s degree, he also earned a Certificate of Real Estate Design and Development from the university’s Wharton School of Business. Will previously graduated cum laude from Georgia State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in urban policy with a concentration in urban planning and economic development.
