Tom Fehr is an executive vice president and regional managing director for Newmark. He oversees the daily operations for the Walnut Creek and Pleasanton offices, which serve Contra Costa, southern Alameda, Solano and Napa counties. He also has regional oversight for the East Bay and Central Valley regions. As an agent, Mr. Fehr’s focus is office leasing and sales in the North I 680 market, which includes the cities of Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Martinez, Lafayette, and Orinda.
During his 30-year career in the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Fehr has developed a reputation as an honest, straightforward broker. He has completed more than 1,000 sale and lease transactions with a total consideration in excess of $1.5 billion. In 2018, Mr. Fehr completed 88 lease and sale transactions with a total consideration in excess of $95 million.
Today, Mr. Fehr exclusively represents more than 10 office projects totaling in excess of 1.5 million square feet. His clients include Lowe Enterprises, Cigna, Harbert Management, Montgomery Advisors, Prometheus Real Estate Group, Rialto Capital and the Koll Company. Mr. Fehr has worked on multiple office projects in all of the submarkets in the North I 680 office market.
Mr. Fehr graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in diplomatic history, with an emphasis on United States/Soviet relations after World War II.
