Tara Long joined Newmark in 2019 and currently serves as a director in the company’s Westchester office. She specializes in tenant and landlord representation in Westchester County, providing her clients with a full array of commercial real estate services.
Tara comes to Newmark with many years of experience in the commercial real estate industry in Westchester and Fairfield county, where she acquired an intimate working knowledge of landlord representation, property management and project management. Tara is part of a leasing team whose members have been appointed as exclusive leasing agents for nearly 4.6 million square feet representing some of Westchester County’s most prestigious commercial landlords including RPW Group’s 1.7 million square feet in six buildings, Ivy Equities 735,000 square feet in two buildings, Celestial Capital Group’s 200,000 square feet in two buildings, Amtrust Realty Corporation’s 200,000 square feet, Juster Development’s 205,000 square feet and Highstone Equity’s 180,000 square feet in two buildings.
Prior to Newmark, Tara was a Senior Leasing Associate at Empire State Realty Trust, where she represented the Greater NY Metropolitan portfolio of Class-A, multi-tenanted office properties comprised of 1.8 million square feet within five different assets located in Westchester and Fairfield counties. During her tenure there, Tara was involved in negotiating nearly 2 million square feet of transactions on behalf of the landlord including Capital One, Odyssey Reinsurance Company, Partner Reinsurance Company of the U.S. and Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP. She was also actively immersed in marketing, market research, capital programs and acquisitions. Earlier in her career, Tara spent 4 years at Newmark & Company Real Estate.
Tara graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from State University of New York at Albany. She holds a real estate license in the state of New York.
